This was my very first time meeting these sisters, and within minutes of meeting them, there was an instant connection. Not only are they so obviously beautiful, but they're so full of life, energy and most entertaining! I heard about their classroom pet "Sleepy" the sleeping dog, their favorite movies, and their dance offs. The sun was setting, the lake shimmered, and the girls glowed. All is good both in front and behind the camera :)

Meeting new families is one of my favorite things about my job. Meeting new families and their new addition creates an extra element of connection with my client. Many times I'm referred by a friend/client and I'll have extensive phone conversations, e-mails, texts, or meetings with the expectant mother before the arrival of the baby to make sure all the details are in place. Sometimes, we don't even meet in person until I arrive to their home for our newborn session! I'm humbled to know that my old clients are so pleased with my work and entrust me with their photo memories and refer me to their loved ones. I was so thrilled to meet this family expecting baby #3. Adjusting to parenthood can be challenging, and I'm very happy that I'm able to help parents have newborn photos in the comfort of their own home. Having other littles running around in their own home while I photograph, can also ease the experience for the siblings.
I've been very, very behind on my blogging. So here I go, playing catch up! I was so excited to meet baby Penelope! She already had a fan club made up of the most adorable boy/girl twin siblings and her beautiful mama, which happens to have one of the most amazing red hair I've seen. Her brother and sister are blonde and brunette, and Miss Penelope was born with the prettiest hair color combination and a pixie cut. Can you imagine that? Below is the proof. I adored every moment I got to cuddle her. |
