So happy I got to see this awesome family almost 1 year after our newborn session with Penny when we first met. The family was living in northern Africa the last year for the time and came home to Florida for a visit. So thankful we were able to squeeze in a family session before their next big move to Paris!
So I'm really, really behind with this blog post. Both my kids had birthdays. My second born, Riyah (pronounced Rye - Ya) turned one in October. Why not share with you all the sweetness she has to offer! The beauty about these outdoor photos is that it was totally unplanned. Often times with my own children, when I plan a "photo session" it rarely goes as planned (tired kid, weather isn't cooperating, lost perfect lighting opportunity, naps, the crankies kick in). One gorgeous Saturday laying around the house as we usually do on our day of rest, we decided to head to the park and have a little picnic. I grabbed my camera and a hair piece that matched her dress...just in case. Weather was beautiful, baby was happy and ultra smiley, and hubby was grilling his killer burgers! My son turned 5 this month...I'm blown away how quickly my baby boy has turned into a little boy. I'm really blessed because our Creator really amused us with the way He worked out the genetics and it's obvious which parent each child takes after. Both of them have my eyes and complexion, but my son Porter is the boy version of me and my daughter is obviously daddy's little girl!
